As some of you already know, I'm a BzzAgent. (It's free and tons of fun! What's not to like about that?? Check them out here if you're interested: Bzzzzzz!!! ) You don't get paid in "points" or cash, but I love that I get to test out all kinds of neat products, and share them and my opinions of them with family and friends! =)
My newest BzzCampaign is Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal. Have you met "The Crunchy Nut", yet?
I admit, when I first saw the commericals for this guy, I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen, but... he's growing on me =D Especially after trying the cereal!
I received Golden Honey Nut Flakes in my BzzKit:
And some great coupons to share with others. Judah approves. =)
Here's a close-up of my bowl:
Here's what the box shows it looks like:
Not quite the same, is it? LOL But, that's what most products do, isn't it--make them look all purdy on the box so we're tempted to buy them, right??
Now for the milk!
Judah thinks it smells tasty, but cereal is NOT for puppies, no matter how adorable they may be. ;-)
First bite, I thought it was just ok. Mildly sweet, but not overly so. The more bites, I took, though, the more I noticed the "peanut-ty" flavor. YUM! Though it's not an overpowering "peanut butter" flavor, mind you. I really enjoy it! So much so, that the box is now completely empty. 0_o And it's only been a few days since it came in the mail. LOL I ate it for breakfast, I ate it for late night snacks... I could even see myself eating it for lunch! It's pretty darn good! I like that the flakes stay crunchy through the whole bowl, too. (The milk is also tasty!)
I like that the ingredients list is relatively short (something I now look for in most things I buy for our household) and I can pronounce them! (Well, minus the vitamins, but I don't count those =D)
The calories and fat content are great! Which makes me feel a little better about downing a whole box by myself... just a *little*. =D
While there is only one gram of fiber per serving, this cereal really filled me up! My first bowl was before my day at the animal shelter--a VERY active few hours--and it kept me full until about 11. So, 3 hours for a bowl of cereal--not too shabby. Normally if I eat cereal, I'm ravenous by the time I get to work, so that alone would keep me coming back for more of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut!
